The Castle, housed in a Victorian building styled like a castle, is the UK's largest climbing center and one of the leading climbing facilities in Europe. The center offers various climbing activities, including over 450 roped and lead routes ranging from 8m to 13m in height and various bouldering surfaces distributed over five floors. It caters to climbers of all skill levels and ages, operating seven days a week. Visitors can also access an organic café, a community garden, and a climbing shop. The Castle offers both single-entry and membership options. Since its opening in October 1995, it has expanded continuously and remains the most visited indoor climbing center in South East England and across the UK.
